Joe Bastardi (long range weather guru) Accuweather same the same pattern that hit the east in January 1985 setting up again later this month.
IF y'all remember, he nailed the Nov-Dec cold pattern-when the Natl WEather service was predictin' balmy temps nationwide.
It was colder in Havana Cuba than Alaska that month
Memphis had 4 big snows
Winter Storm warning all the way to the Al/MS coasts
Then, Bastardi says, winter basically ends of the US most of Feb.
