Hi I think I may have fried my board. I think I drew to much current through the EAC connectors on the board. I have 115VAC but do not get 24VDC at SEC1&2. Following the flow chart it says to replace the transformer. Any idea where this transformer is? Is it fused? The board does have a slite smell like it has over heated or a component has fried. I have been unable to find a number for the board on the web. The number on the board is HK42FZ0223005. Are there alternate numbers for this board? Any idea of cost?
Thanks

Ok quick update.... Found the transformer mounted on the bottom of the board housing. I pulled the leads to it and I DO NOT have 115Vac going to the transformer. I verified again that I do have 115VAC supply. So the board? ever repaired one?... thoughts?
Thanks

Awww yes, when I was in electronics school, we called it the blue smoke theory. EVERYTHING works on blue smoke. When it escapes.... things don't work.
Cost?... pm me

I recall coming across a site sometime ago that rebuilds EAC, but the cost to rebuild one is pretty comparable to just buying a new one, then you can keep the old one you already fired by doing your own repair for spare parts for the next time this happens :D
