BS ace, your not that stupid. The Republican party has conservatives in it along with quite a few "moderates" and yes even some liberals. They tend to break ranks much too often and join the socialist / communist Democrats on bad bills. You know that so why the spin. Your better than that at least I thought.

The Bush administration IS NOT conservative. Much of the GOP in congress isn't either. That's why they are getting their butts kicked in elections.

But in 2000 you voted for him because he was conservative, correct. and again in 2004, correct.

I voted for him 'cause the alternative was Gore or Kerry. Sadly, I'd probably do the same thing again if faced with those choices.

When the GOP starts running great conservative candidates again, they will win again,

Ace is using tired old Soros tactics. He's trying to get you to submit to the liberals....you know......there is no hope.......give up.......surrender to us. By pounding the drum over and over, maybe you'll come around, because you have no choice or alternative. In other words, might as well drag you down with the rest of the riff raff.
Me, personally, extend my middle figure salute to such nonsense. Soros can go @#$k himself.
Merry Christmas!:D

there is some major failings with this thinking.

The Auto industry has NOT been nationalized.....yet. I doubt it will ever happen because I don't believe GM or Chrysler will be around for another 3 months.

The Obama administration is PRO-Union. The UAW backed Obama ALL THE WAY and without reservation. I believe Obama will make it easier for the UAW to get into the "foreign" auto plants and that Obama will not let GM or Chrysler lower the wage package to levels necessary for those companies to survive. In short, the UAW is about to put themselves out of business

here is the killer for GM and Chrysler: Together, for the last few months they have NOT been paying there vendor's , they owe the vendor's approximately 10 BILLION DOLLARS. The TARP payment is only for 13 billion? Hows that going to work out

All the money will be 'repayable' at the end of the first quarter of 2009? retail sales are historically slow in the first quarter of every fiscal year?

anyone want to guess when the auto industry will file for bankruptcy....from the government:confused:

All of these bailouts are coming at the end of this administration. Also the highest gasoline prices ever, along with the lowest in recent history have come about. It probably all points back to who was in GW's frat house in his college days.:(

Congrts, that's quite possibly the stupidest thing ever  There is Macro-economics going on here that you don't understand ( I don't fully understand them either)

But if you wan to blame something, look toward business..........they helped create this problem.

Government is now just getting in the way

Ace is not trying to get anyone to do anything but cough up some true lies. When Bush first entered the National scene, he was Gods gift to conservatives. Now they deny him. why not some honesty on this.

Does it really matter anymore?

The Ball is in Obama's court now. And his Congress left town without doing anything other than giving themselves a raise

So this should be an indication of how things are going to go in the future. A congress that is out for themselves and screw the little guy

Did you read that in Cosmo or something????

I never considered him any kind of gift, nor do I remember him being touted as such, except to deliver us from the likes of Goretex.......Inventer of the internet......and the GW hoax's biggest payment recipient.......:D
