saw the bag at comfortech in atlanta.

very nice bag, work on one side and business on the other.

it also holds a laptop in the middle. i plan on getting one for the simple fact it's far more studier than my current cheapo laptop bag

would prolly be an awesome set up for a controls guy :)

225 is a little steep though :( might have to keep an eye out for a deal somewhere :)

Looks sweet.

There are two two zip up pouches on either side of the center handle.

I'm thinking you could get invoices, laptop, testo RSA w/hoses.................ect. ;)

Also the shoulder strap is magnetic to hold it to the handle :)

Looks like a great bag for the technician that is doing controls and or programming most of the day. Or as a second bag to keep even more stuff in.

I looked @ some of those bags on line My big craftsman tool box in my van cost less,I figure I could wear out a few clc bags in 5 years and still be ahead money wise. They do look good though I will probably talk myself out of buying one 3 or 4 times,I will break down eventually.

I have the LC, and I think even it is too big for 99% of the jobs I do. I usually leave it in the van and carry a small canvas bag with the basic tools I use most of the time. I wish veto would make a bag that is about 50% smaller than the LC. Just something that can hold a few screw drivers, nut drivers, one meter, and my mini-12V drill/driver. For something this small you wouldn't need to have the vertical storage pockets, but I would love the waterproof-ness and durability of the veto bags.

any veto bag looks sweet, this bag would be perfect for any ems guy or a service manager that actually gets out of the office and goes to the field for inspections or whatever, its also nice for the salesman who goes out and needs some tools to do proper pm quotes.

I as a service tech do not need to carry a lap top to all jobs, someone mentioned putting work orders in there but i dont know about you all but i dont want to carry any paperwork with me, paperwork is to be done when your done, you have clean hands and are back at your van relaxing and writting out your wo with all the trash u used.

What i would of like to of seen is a new bag that is slimer, i would of taken the LC kept all the pockets on one side and on the other i would of taken out all of the current stuff, left half of it empty for a plastic container for all my wire nuts, tec screws, etc. and the other half i would of added two extra large pouches for tube cutters, meter leads, jumpers or whatever other trash you want in there. For a bag like this i would definetly be willing to pay 200 plus faster then a bullet would hit me.:D

Nice bag, but I'd have to see it up close before I'd buy one. I can't imagine I could fit everything thats in my XL in it plus my laptop and all its accessories.

Hey iceman, how about finding out who can go through a triathlon while carrying a veto lx tool bag full of crescent wrenches, would that be easier or funner than a essay?

Any one have their handle grip split on their veto bag? Mine did, the rubber at the bottom opened up, what a PITA, now I have to go through all the hassle of a warranty claim, and shipping yadda yadda.............

I like my old bag, it is broke in, dirty, every pocket is stretched and indented perfectly.

From what I hear they handle the warranty claims fast.

I've been looking at the XL , how long have you had yours?

Is it overkill for resi service?

EugeneTheJeep

I had it almost 3 years, it is great for any type of HVACR work. It was just the rubber grip split, the rest of the bag is still fine. If you don,t carry alot of tools, go for the smaller version.

Please check out the Veto products listed on HVACPRODUCTRATINGS.COM and don't forget to use the Talk to the Manufacturer feature to communicate any problems you had with their product directly to them.
This feature works with all products listed on that website.
The website makes it easy to research various HVAC products all in one place.
Thanks

Thanks for your help. We are getting a lot of techs across the country asking to see reviews of different products on the site and are hoping to get the members of hvac-talk involved that have the experience with these products to help them out by writing their comments. The site is really helpful because you can see various manufacturers products listed in one place and get all the info you need on them.
Thanks again for your help.

Looks cool.. I just can't see spending $225 on a tool bag. I wouldn't want to use it. I would be too afraid to get dirt on it or wear some part of it out. haha

Well since I do building automation and my current back pack is at the end of it's life I bought one. It's pretty nice but is probably gonna weigh in about 50# with a computer and some tools, don't know yet as its not fully loaded right now. A snap fell off on the second day I had it, not that big a deal but it didn't sit right with me at the price of the bag and the fact I hadn't even used the snap yet. Filled out the warranty claim and they are sending me a new one with a return shipping lable. They stand behind there stuff. I've had an LC for a little over a year and I like it, hence the purchase of the computer bag.
