No problem. I'm not a fair-weather fan. I expected some ribbing anyways.
Been a Browns fan as long as I can remember.

One of the two T.A.B. companies in our area came from Cleveland, a father-son team. The son is like you say " not a fair weather fan". He is Goo-Goo Gaa-Gaa over the Browns. I have to tease him every time the Broncs play the Browns. He hates, and WILL NOT admit that, John Elway was one of the great quarterbacks of our time. He has eyes only for Bernie Kosar. He's a good sport about it tho, and that's why the Browns are O.K. w/me! While in High school I used to drive a '68 Camero RS, White w/ tonneau top and two wide black racing stripes down the hood. I loved that car and have kicked myself in the rear for selling it everytime I see one. :)

The Browns have always had the bad luck to be a team that when good enough to get to the Super Bowl, have always either stopped themselves, or had another team in their conference that was ultimately better than them.
I HATED Elway back then, but know now he was one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play. He had a rocket launcher arm, could scramble, and take a hit...he had guts.
Kosar was good in another way, smarter, but immobile. I used to say he ran like a ruptured duck. But he almost got us there, so he deserves his due.
I also had a '68 RS Camaro in High School.
Back in 2004, I'd been watching Epay for 5 years looking for a Camaro when I saw a '68 RS that went unsold. I called up the owner who HAD to sell because he had just bought a farm. I told him what I could afford to give him (turns out it was what he had paid for it 4 years previously), and ended up getting a great deal.
My wife was PISSED when I told her....until I picked her up at work with it. Now I can't keep her from waxing it and wanting to go for rides on the weekends. I call our rides our 4-wheel therapy sessions (we have 3 boys).
It's a factory RS (no clone), original 327 converted to 4 bolt mains, original 3 speed stick, and that's an original GM cowl hood. The paint is PPG basecoat/tintcoat/clearcoat.
I've atached a couple pics.
My youngest Son and I are now rebuilding a '69. We've replaced 75% of the body and he's become a hell of a good MIG'er.
I don't know if this qualifies as a hijacked/off forum topic thread, but I still think it's interesting. If anyone has a problem, let me know and it'll be the last football/Camaro content I'll ever post.

WOW! That's a nice looking Camero! How do you find the time to build a car? I can barely find time to wash mine:(
