Having a Reno problem, can send pages manually, also getting test page (heartbeat), but unable to get point alarms, happening to two phones within a group, others in the group getting all alarms. Strange part is that the heartbeat and manual pages are going out.

Hmm, that does sound odd.
So, you're saying:
You have a group of phones - are they getting text messages or Dialogic speech?
And the Heartbeat does goto those problem phones but not point alarms?
And a manual message does goto the problem phones also.
The problem will be either in the point definition or it's possibly an access issue. I'm kinda reaching here, but are you sure those individuals have access to those points and that the points still have the correct group defined?
Does the page (I guess it's not speech since you said "page") go thru email to website, then to phones?
I'm pretty good with RENO issues, we can figure it out. :)

Hi, Yes it's setup as alphnumeric, I've never seen this, the new phone was added to an existing group. Sent manual message and seemed OK, getting heartbeart, but wasn't getting point alarms, even though activity log suggests it is being succesfully sent. Set up a test point, added new phone as individual contact, no problem. Created new group, added new phone, assigned new group to new test point, no problem. Re-added the new phone to old group, assigned to new test point, same problem, original members of group getting it, not new contact. For what ever reason it seems like the old group needs to be deleted and readded, of course doing that will disassociate it with all the points, so some leg work will need to be done. There are access groups, but the original point (boiler alarm) isn't assigned to an access group, so I don't think it's an access group problem...very strange, I've never experienced this before.

I know this sounds like a dumb and simple fix... but have you tried rebooting the server after making the change to the existing group? The RENO service sometimes needs to be restarted after making changes.

Yes, stopped and restarted the Reno Service, same results, rebooted, and also go the same results.

It's true that earlier version of RENO needed the service restarted after changes but I haven't actually done that for a number of years now.
I have to agree that the group somehow got corrupted. I wonder if running the oocleanup on all databases will fix it (PM me for details if you don't know how). Also, I'd be tempted to try some various mods to the group (adding new phone and moving it to the top?).
But yea, deleting the group will remove it from your RENO points but I wonder if the attibute dupicator would let you re-add them all in short order?

I know what you mean, I was thinking on the same line w/ Att duplicator. Unfortunately I don't think there a report outlining which groups get which alarms. You can see what enable for reno but then have to drag each one to editor to see what group destination it's assigned. Perhaps the database cleanup you mention is worth a shot.
