I hear today a petition is going around to disqualify Obama because he actually was born in Kenya. His mother wasnt 18 so she couldnt apply for citizenship in the US at that time. Hmmmm. This is going to be good.

Snopes is a very Liberal CA. based organization. The Snopes article makes a touchy-feely statement that "the law would not penalize him/his mother because she was too young". The Law makes distinctions on immigration like that everyday.

There is also a ongoing controversy as to whether he was born in Hawaii or Kenya. The document that was produced was a Cetificate of live birth [COLB] and can not be even used to get a passport [since it is filled out by the hospital somewhere].

It is much different than a "REGISTERED" State's birth certificate. The document also does not conform to the template used for records at the time of his birth.

Since he met with the Govenor of Hawaii [who is very liberal] she has sealed all the records of his birth. This was during the trip "to see his dying Grandmother" [he spent an hour with her].

Why does he want this controversy to continue, why not just produce the records for examination and put this to rest?

This is one of those things we will never know the truth of. If he wins it will be buried and if he loses it will be a moot point.

Hawaii state oficals have stated on the record that they have seen the offical birth certificate and it is valid; take this for what it is worth.

Current law would make him a citizen even if the law in 1960 would not and his supporters will say that is all that is important.

At this point I doubt there is anything we can do about it, even if it is later proven he is not a citizen and was ousted (assuming he wins) Biden would become president and that might be even worse than BO.
