I have Lonmaker 3.1 nonturbo with all of the upgrades/updates. When I open any network database off or online I get a error stating
"Opening the ECHLON Lonmark Device Resource Files.
File Not Found in the Lonmark Device Resource File catalog"
see attached
When I click ok it reopens two more times and then goes away not to come back until I close and reopen any database

Does anyone have a heads up on what is happening

Your drf catalog has become corrupt. What control line manufacturer do you rep?

The DRF kit must be installed before any device is created in Lonmaker or NL220

Solution
If the DRF (Device Resource Files) kit is not installed before devices are added in Lonmaker or NL220 (and other tools), you will not be able to use plug-ins to configure these devices even if you install the DRF kit. The DRF kit must be installed and properly registered in the PC before any devices are created. If are in this situation you will need to remove all devices and the device templates and you need to start all over. It is therefore recommended that the DRF kit are installed before adding any device and that you create one device and test the plug-in to make sure that the DRF kit are properly registred before adding a number of devices into the database.

Here's another with regards to TAC software, but I would imagine you can tweak this to fit whatever software you are running.
"TAC DRF kit is not registerd" error message when installing TAC software

Solution
Follow these steps to correct this problem:

1. Browse to C:\LonWorks\types\ and delete the LDRF.cat file.

2. Start the Catalog Utility from Start>Programs>Echelon LNS Utilities>LNS Resource File Catalog Utility.

3. Click OK.

4. Browse to C:\LonWorks\types\ and click OK.

5. Select "Add a New Directory".

6. Browse to C:\LonWorks\types\User\TAC and click OK.

7. If Echelon LonMaker is being used repeat steps 5 and 6 for the directory C:\LonWorks\types\User\Echelon.

8. Click "Refresh Now", then "Exit"

The DRF kit should now be repaired.

I am a integrator so I deal with many different systems but of the many here are a few Distech, Honeywell (I had problems with their T7350 plugin), Trane. These are what I have been working on as of late

Go to this address and download the lastest DRF from Lonmark, this will contain almost all Lonworks devices.

http://www.lonmark.org/technical_resources/resource_files/

This will help you out, make sure to do what Carb said in Solution #1 and that is do delete the current catalog.

Lontshooter

P.S. this is a good resource for Lonworks information.

Are you sure you deleted the files you use and then re-added the user?

If you did then I would say call Echelon. They have been very helpful to me - also they have a forum - http://webserv.echelon.com/

and a support site - http://www.echelon.com/support/

The only file I deleted was the LDRF.cat file as was told me I then added the directorys under the user directory as suggested.... What other files should I have deleted?
As for contacting Echelon I cannot afford the signup agreement for the year to be able to ask them. I will go on the forums and check them out thanks

You don't have to sign up for an account - email them or call them - if they are available they will help right away, otherwise you will be put on the back burner until they are available. I've called two or three times and they helped without an agreement. I've only called about once a year though.

I would try adding the Distech and Honeywell Users after deleting the LDRF file and any others that you commonly work with.

Check their knowledge base as well.
