I have a multilevel 2300 sq foot home in Indiana and am buying a new boiler. I have a few options in front of me;

1: 80% effciency Lennox
or
2: 90% effciency Lennox
or
3: 80% effciency Weil-McClane

If it were your house, which would you install? I saw some negative comments on the Lennox and good ratings on the Weil McClane. Did I just answer my own question or was my google search showing a slanted view? I'm willing to buy any of the three.

Thanks for your help!

If you do go with higher efficiency, make sure the dealer knows what he is doing. In our part of the state, not a lot of boilers and most dealers aren't too sharp on it. The fancy ones aren't just slide out and solder in a new one. Special piping, special controls give them the high efficiency and if installed wrong, will be troublesome and not save you.
