it's easy to see how Joe Biden became the VP nomination even after trashing Obama.
Biden is telling us he'll bring change to America, a man that's been in office 35 years.
it's clear his role will be to keep an eye on Jr.
Biden is a left wing hero, being the first politician to start the democrat trend of denying judges based on their conservative views.
Robert Bork was a highly qualified Supreme Court judicial candidate, nominated by Ronald Reagan.
due to Robert Bork's strong pro-America views, he became a target of the ACLU.
Joe Biden was the head of the judiciary committe and worked with the ACLU to use any-means-neccesary to stop Bork from becoming a judge, which is now the main policy of the Democrats when a conservative is nominated for the Supreme Court
Biden and the committe feld Bork was too much of an "originalist" , and therefore unpredictable.
when a judge's nomination is stopped by slowdown or underhanded tactics, it's now called "borking a judge", and we have Joe Biden to thank for it.
of course the big fear was Bork would overturn the nation-wide, muderous law of Roe vs Wade, where Norma McCorvey(Roe) was used by the legal system to make abortion legal, in an untruthful case where she was told to claim she was raped, a role in which she eventually recanted and within a year became a born again Christian.
since then many "conservative" judges were placed on the Supreme Court and Roe vs. Wade was never overturned.
Ronald Reagan caved in to the Democrats and nominated a bunch of left-wing nuts to the court who posed as moderates.
Biden also rejected the nomination of Judge Thomas.
Bork, unhappy with his treatment in the nomination process, resigned his appellate-court judgeship in 1988.
