Jenn air downdraft gas code help!!!!

I have a customer who has a new Jenn air gas cooktop/range.... it comes with a downdraft fan to pipe to exterior for exhaust... my concern was products of combustion into room.... I have only installed where hood is above.... I would like to know codes on this item/situation..... thanks alot for your help

Should be able to get a good idea from the install manual of how close to other materials it needs to be.

Im most concerned with wether this item is made for install in canada...I havent been to house .... wanted to avoid if I knew code allowments.... I didnt see this type of appliance in my code book:o
