Has anyone tried to control the Bryant FV4B Fan Coil Units with a JCI Metasys BMS?

Can the fan speed of the FCU be controlled by the BMS? It looks like the settings on the "easy select" board of the FCU control the CFM. Has anyone tried putting a relay on the low, med, and high settings of the continuous fan setting?

The FCUs could serve up to 3 different zones and each zone has a 2 position zone damper. If the zone is not calling, the damper will be closed. If I only have 1 zone calling out of the 3 zones and cannot ramp the fan back to a specific CFM, there will be a good amount of air that will need to go somewhere.

Thank you!

Do not use the low medium high taps on the board. There is a very easy way to do what you want, but register as a pro so we can help you.

Not site, side. The side that makes their living in this industry. The side that has responsibility. The side that invest in ownership. The side that has all the risk that being in business brings. The side that people will be glad to under mine to save a buck. The side that can be depended on at 3 am to get your heat going.

The side that promotes integrity and competence......................................

Get your post count up, verify you're in the industry and have access to the non-public forums where the info flows like Raspberry wine.
