What all is done with the annual service?

My HP & Coil are 1 year old and my NG furnace is about 6. I change the filters regularly, and hose off the outside unit too.

Everything is working fine, but money is tight right now and want to make sure it is worth it.

One thing I did notice when I searched for an answer. Most websites seem to have the exact same answer down to the wording.


They should be checked and cleaned, to be sure they are operating safely and at their top efficiency.

Like ben said, there isn't anything carved in stone, as to what each company does for their inspections. What I do, another company may not.
