Help! I have a new goodman condenser unit and the compressor is having difficulties turning on at the same time as the fan. When the fan turns on the compressor turns on for a second then turns off. This happens a few more times until after a few minutes the compressor turns on.

sounds a little like thermal overload. I assume your a tech and i see you don't have your post high enough to apply for pro status. I would suggest talking to someone at your shop or get your status changed and maybe we can help in the pro's forum.
