I believe it had a 'behind the scenes' co-op between JCI and Loytec, with a basis on a rejected rev of the ilon.

Well of course it doesn't...but the concept behind the NAE, if the rumors are true, came from interaction that the Johnson engineers had with Tridium's development team, such interaction being part of the lawsuit settlement JCI won when Tridium reverse-engineered the N2 driver back in the early r2 days...wow, more lousy sentence structure...
