It's in Nashville, the best host city for the event IMO.

The one and only country artist that I've seen in concert. He played Wellington (Kansas) City Auditorium when I was a junior in high school. That dude has got to be old. Heck, I thought he was old 20 years ago. :D

Yeah hes getting up there. He is a pal of ours. We just did a show with Mel and his band a few weeks ago. Im sure there will be more. Hes good guy and still pretty cool to see. Good band he has going out with him.

The last show we did with him he had to pull out an inhaler during the show LOL. He made a good joke of it though.

Of course, we kicked major tail! LOL

We're in the middle of "redesigning" Comfortech and have some very interesting changes coming. Besides returning to one of our favorite spots -- Nashville, TN -- we're also putting together one of the biggest programs yet. It's too early to spill any details yet, but I'll do so first, as soon as everything is buttoned up.

Meanwhile, some of the favorites will be returning:

The HVAC-Talk Moderators will return and will have a booth. This is your chance to meet the guys who help manage the site. There will be free t-shirts given out and maybe, yes maybe, even some of those high-in-demand HVAC-Talk pins everyone covets!!!
The HVAC-Talk Essay Contest is back. Yup -- one of you can win a free, all expenses paid trip to Nashville. All you'll have to do is write a short essay on what you hope to get out of HVAC Comfortech 2009. More on that in a few months.
Technicians Day. If you're local (within one day's driving distance of Nashville), this event is for you. Come spend a day in technical classes designed just for you, plus get free admission to the tradeshow. All for a very low rate.Plus there will be many educational sessions, business opportunity sessions, and parties.

We will be working with local distributors on group rates for the entire Comfortech program. If you want in on suchh a deal, contact yourr local distributor, tell them about Comfortech (if they don't already know about it), and have them contact me to set up a special rate.

So keep your eyes on this forum for updates and more information. Also you can get more information on the Comfortech website (http://www.hvaccomfortech.com) (and to see pictures from 2008), as well as in the magazine (http://www.contractingbusiiness.com).

By the way, if you don't receive Contracting Business and want to, just click here to register. (http://www.submag.com/sub/gb?pk=gbnt) It's free. All you have to do is fill out a subscription qualification form.

That's it for now.
