Whoa, what was that sound coming from the Trane

Here at work, 16 y/o Trane Ah (nasty on inside) started (today) make very loud sounds at start up then blows fine and sound is normal.

It's loud enough to scare anyone that in the room.

Any ideas?

AH was supposed to cleaned by HVAC maintenance ppl, haven't "gotten around to it" yet.

Filter change in early August
Runs about 3 hours per day

Don't know your location so Im going to guess your in heating where your at and it was probably the contactor that turns the electric heat strips on. I'm baising that on it being a trane and thats common especially when it gets old
