I have a Johnson system that the previous Property management company locked all the warmer/cooler adjustments to zero. Problem is after power outage the over ride resets and everyone starts complaining. The custodian says that the previous engineer would use a global command to manual this set point 2 floors at a time. Can someone enlighten me as to how to do this so that she does not have to manual each one individually? Is there a better way to take the offset out?

If this is a MSEA system, go here
BACcrap MSEA/NAE (http://cgproducts.johnsoncontrols.com/MET_PDF/1201793.pdf)
starting on page 185, Global Search.....thru 187.
There are several ways to automate what you want to do......

What is the front end, PMI or MSEA?

Or perhaps..... it may because they will.
Just do a global search from the Query menu and search for the points you want to override. Then save the search so you can access it later. Then select all points in the list, select commands from the action menu and overwrite the value to whatever you want. It will go through and overwrite all the points in the list.

Thanks for the info. I will give it a try next time I am on sight. The customer doen't like being charged for 3 or 4 guys to fix one VAV.

Are you saying that is why they don't want to call JCI?

Yes, they got a bill for over $1300 to fix one hot call. One zone. The building engineer said they had at least three guys there for a while and he thinks a fourth came and left. The day after they got the bill I got a call asking if I could work on Johnson stuff. I said I never had but I would give it a try. So far I have I have managed, with you guys help, and that BacCrap sight is going to be good so thanks for that Ninax.
I now have another zone screwed up after a power outage. What's up with that?
Every time power blinks I end up resetting everything.

My bad, I was just going through my log on the building and it was $1300 for 12 hour, 2 guys. I was thinking of a differant building.

My hackles up? It would take more than that. I'm still at DEFCON 5, well maybe 4.
