View Full Version : Even PA is swinging to the right side;

With 21 electoral votes, PA has been reversing it's Obama support for the past two weeks and now has hit the even mark where the support is the same for McCain as it is for Obama.
Since there was a ten point divide with Obama in the lead, this change of direction is pretty fast. Let's hope it keeps going in the "right" direction; http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/pennsylvania/election_2008_pennsylvania_presidential_election2

There are a lot of leaning states that are starting to trend toward McCain and it's the same pattern that was observed during the Bush/Kerry run.
I think what happens is that people start coming down from the "high" they experience when they are told that government can solve all their problems and then they start to realize that government is the problem.

This certainly sounds logical, but why do they have to scare people like me for so long until they gain senses?

If you are scared of Obama(Deocrats) or McCain (Republicans), you have issues that are better dealt with by a phycoanylist. There is nothing either party will do that is going to change your lot in life. That's something you have to do yourself.

I never mentioned Bush. You are reading something into the post that is not there. However what goes on in Washington indirectly affects us all. But it is easy enought to overcome it.
Do I as I do. By a home in the country and secede.:cool:

and that would mean if the 'Deocrats' and Republicans aren't doing anything to change our lot in life that they don't directly affect us? And Bush is one of those Republicans.....

Even though it is not true, it is not that far fetched that key Democrats may be supporting McCain. Don't go by me, listen to what they say themselves; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSpcxkKlEFA&feature=user

I disagree. I would never insult McCain by calling him a Democrat with the current attitude of the Democratic Party.
John McCain may not be a far to the right Republican, but he does adhere to basic Republican standards before the so called religious right started infecting the Republican Party.
I don't want far right or far left leaders. I want leaders who can achieve doing things that are good for all Americans.

I agree that bill seems to miss the mark on many issues, but at least it was a plan. At least something was thought up and proposed. As much as I respect President Bush for the way he has "stayed the course" in our efforts against Islamic terrorism, I am not at all impressed with his lack of action on immigration.

LMAO. Too bad you absolutely nailed it. The two party system is a joke. Too bad, also, that the joke is on us.
