Hello,

We have three NAE's - one used as the site manager. They are located in different buildings and use wireless from point to point for one building.

They are using version 2.2 and the NAE's are 55's. I have changed some paramters and still have it going offline \ online several times a week.

Does anyone know if there are any internal parameters that can be changed or something else.

Thanks for any insight on this - as this has been a pain for a while.

Check the status of your wireless when the NAE goes offline.

What wireless are talking about?

It could be the number of users. Each NAE is considered a user as well as actual users logged in. If the number is exceed you will get a quick offline/online for a user. I have seen this on sites before/
It is in the literature if you dig enough as well as number of users for NAE site director, ADS or ADX.

That's an unusual & weird one.

I had job with many NAE'S and ADS. They would randomly go offline/online real quick at various times least once a day. The ADS supports 5 users which I thought meant 5 users logged in at the same time. Called it in, turns out the NAE's count as a user as well. If you have more than the number of users allowed accessing the site sever (which cna be another NAE), you get the site offline/online real quick. On my site it occurs randomly. Also if you have th esite server which is an NAE with alot of graphics in it, could also be a symtom. Hey guys just offering up another explanation. Could be the wirelss?? Mine was on a hard wired customer network.
Need more info let me know.

The wirerless is from the IP provider and we don't have any access or control.

They also don't have a ADS only NAE's
