Try logging out and logging back in.

That has worked for others who have had a similar problem getting in.

I am having the same problem, but when I logged back in, all the education forums show up locked. Is this normal?

Count me in "no getting in":mad:

You must be a "pro" member to see them.

Yes they all show locked for me too, I think it is normal because nobody can post in the topics.

they are not all locked.. just the ones that should be. there are places to discuss what you read that is housed within each forum area.

I don't know all I can get is the links they post.

Maybe I'm not understanding where your problem is.

Here's a link to the EF's forums available under HVACR Service & Troubleshooting:

http://hvac-talk.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=81

Here you see 5 forums available. These 5 are essentially the foundations of the EF structure. You'll see the same categories repeated throughout the EF.

The top 4 are locked to posting, but open to viewing of all content contained in them. Keep in mind this "content" is primarily in the form of links to the real content.

The last one, Open Forum Discussion, is unlocked or open to posting. It currently has a couple of active discussion threads. Can you see the discussion threads?

It's possible also that you may be viewing a discussion forum that has no threads started yet. Is that part of the problem? You can start a new thread in any of the Open Forum Discussion areas, just click on the "New Thread" box.

I was just seeing post in the box and thought I could see post. I can see links and it does say no post once you get in. Thanks for response.

Getting the required post count is easy.

Getting past the Membership Committee is not so easy.

Good Luck

Just passed my AC&R 410A test, and EPA test is next week. The instructors have been great.

I'm debating taking some NATE tests now.
