What a brilliant political move McCain has made! He's stolen the heralded morning after Obama's acceptance speech. The news should be all Obama-all the time today, but McCain/Palin is the hot topic.
This may be one of the best political moves ever. I can't wait to see the polls Monday or so.

General Election Polls

Not at all, I'm aware of the electoral count.
The electoral count lags behind the national polls because they have to run state polls to determine the candidates numbers withing that state. These aren't too terribly important until about a week or two after the GOP convention, then we'll start to see how things shape up.
Also, when you take out the toss-up states, McCain and Obama are in a virtual tie. Most of the undecided will go to McCain.
The latest poll shows Obama up about 6 points. While that may seem good at first glance, it isn't. This is merely back to where he was a month ago. Dukakis came out of his convention with a 17 point lead. Aside from Bill's and Obama's (mostly Bill's) speeches, the convention was a big snoozefest. It didn't do him that much good. Truth is.....he's running very poorly given the political climate we're in.

Truth is.....he's running very poorly given the political climate we're in.That would have to be ALL Bill's speech. O'Bama wasn't even good until he was nearly finished, but by then it was too late. He had spoken for approximately 30 minutes and hadn't managed to say anything whatsoever...unless you still have faith in socialist pansies taking over the gov't. (not you exactly K Fridge, but...) anyway, like Lew Rockwell said this afternoon to O'Bama in a blog entitled It's All Over , "Obama: the weeping, worshipping masses last night were the highpoint of your life. Get a DVD to remind you."

Personally, this Presidental race would make more sense to me if Joe Biden and Barack Obama would switch places. :(
I really really want someone with experience running things in the White House.

I think if you look on monster.com there is an entry level job for Democratic Presidential candidate opening for 2012: Prior experience needed - none, must be wealthy speak well and be capable of changing mind with mainstream media not noticing, being able to pray on peoples ignorance is a must. Honesty loyalty and the ability to maintain a monogamous relationship not necessary.:D

ROTFLMAO. I bet the dems wish they would have thought of this.
I wouldn't have any huge problems with Joe Biden running the White House if the dems won.
And I hardly expect John McCain to pass away in the next 4 years.
I really don't want our next President to require accelerated advanced training. :o

Biden is a little bit of a loose cannon but by far a better candidate.
A white house with no experience scares the crap out of me.

why ,you want to pop it for me?
Only if I get to use my open hand.
You obviously had no clue to the date (you said it was today and the poll was dated 8/27) so I reminded you of the date (8/29) two days later than the one you thought it was (8/27). So, it wasn't from today (8/29) it was from two days ago (8/27) and on that date (8/27) Gov. Palin hadn't been introduced as the Republican choice for V.P. That happened today (notice today is 8/29) and that's two days past the date of that poll (8/27).
Get the idea?

Caught a few minutes of Michael Savage talking about McCain giving away the election. Then I heard who McCain's pick was. Savage know what he 's talking about. Get that man off the air.
McCain did what Obama wouldn't/couldn't do. McCain could not have made a better choice and he will definately win. He's going to take away a lot of the Clinton supporters that dislike Obama. Great move.

I can sincerely say that Gov. Palin is 1000% more attractive in every way than screeching former first lady "Hitlary" Clinton! And I'm not apologizing for my opinion.
