he (Biden) even managed to work in a reference to his efforts to keep Supreme Court nominee Robert Bork from the bench -- a sure winner in the eyes of liberal Democrats who loathe Bork. from link (http://blog.washingtonpost.com/thefix/2007/04/democratic_presidential_debate.html)

Who else would work to prevent a President from nominating conservative judges? Oh, the big mav..Johnny Mac

Johnny Mac is still going to win in November

Can anyone explain now how the Obama camp can hit out at J. McCain over his support of the Iraq war now?
Biden, with his foreign policy credentials, supported the war. This has been a major point Obama has hammered on constantly. That he has never supported it and McCain's support was a mistake. Biden made the same choice.

How is this now the team that will change 'politics as usual' in Washington? Biden has been in office in Washington since '72 a full 10 years before McCain was first elected. Only 5 other current senators have served longer.

And, Biden is only one senate term (6 years) younger than McCain. Imagine that--the Obamaniacs have brought up McCain's age many a time and they pick a running mate that is closer to McCain's age than Obama's.

I guess it is the "two birds of a feather" rule.

So, who thinks Biden will drop his senate re-election campaign. Or, does he still try to get elected to that in case this side-job falls through?

I'm just still totally amazed that Barry went with Ole' Joe. What are they thinking? The Limbaugh's of the world were chomping at the bit hoping Biden would be the pick--there's just way too much juicy stuff to ignore.

Forgot to mention--if he DOESN'T continue his Senate re-election campaign what will happen? Biden was the only democrat listed against a single Republican. Does a 'gasp' Republican get the seat by default?

Can anyone explain now how the Obama camp can hit out at J. McCain over his support of the Iraq war now?Yes, it's quite simple. Liberalism is not only a mental disorder...thank you Michael Savage, but it is like slow-motion suicide --see The Suicide of the West by James Burnham,or for that matter this article about that book (http://www.conservativemonitor.com/top-ten/suicide-of-the-west.shtml) or even the lead article in this author's segment (http://www.chroniclesmagazine.org/?cat=41)--the one titled "Liberalism as Addiction". It's insightful as to why liberals habitually break the rules of the concepts which they purport to hold dear.

At the end of the day, even liberal Democrats will continue our current policy of manifest destiny, exporting some bast%$dized version of "democracy". They don't have the kahunas NOT to.

How could Barack Hussein Obama not pick Biden? After all, Biden gave Obama the most compliments that could be bestowed on him during the campaign; Obama is the first African/American (not accurate) who is articulate, clean, nice looking etc.

McCain's goons are going to have a field day with that comment, especially the word, "clean". What is that supposed to mean?

Obama chooses Biden, who has been a member of Congress for 35 years and represents the very gridlock and partisanship that Obama professes to denounce.

During the Democrat's campaign, Biden spoke of Obama as a one term senator lacking the necessary experience to be commander-in-chief and stood by his statement during their debates.
Biden also suggested that McCain would be a batter choice as President.

Now, we see Biden clearly contradicting his earlier statements and we hear the media referring to him as a most humble and honarable man??

If Biden truly believed what he asserted during his own campaign against Obama, one would have to think he would want no part of being his running mate.
