Well, does he care and want to serve, or is he just in the pursuit of power? I would assert that he is just after power, does not care one whit about anyone but himself. I expect no man to be his brothers' keeper, but if God blesses you with the fortune of becoming a senator in the USA I think you should have a clue as to the condition of your closest family... Even a lout should have sense enough to do so for publicity purposes, but damm, what kind of peter-head leaves his little brother to live in squalor of a 6x9 shack and one single dollar a month? His own brother!

I wonder if this is an example of ''change'' or of ''hope'' he promises, sure as he11 is not help or progress..

Obama is a parisite. Sucking good-will for a message of 'hope''. Sucking optomism for a message of ''change''. He will suck your tax dollars and leave you in a 6x9 mud-hut living on one dollar a month, he does not care about you and will laugh at your calamity when it comes. As a 'world-citezen', he considers your 'american' identity as a badge of arrogance anyway that needs to be 'changed'.

Obama lets his little brother live a life of squalor, poverty, and hopelessness. No help from big brother, yet obama wants to be our 'big brother[j/k slang for govt.]'...? :D

I have my own take/opinion on it, but it is not really 'spin' per se. Just my opinion. And I am shocked and agast that obama is such a callous peter-head, no concern for family it would seem, what a jerk. If that was my little brother, you can bet your life I would do more than obama is to help him out, and I have limited resources by comparison.

Additionally, even if you are okay with the moral/honorable revulsion, forget what he ought to do by reason of obligation for a moment,... ... you gotta think about obama as a political figure. In fact, obama is a little stupid for not realizing this was going to come out and bite him big-time. It just LOOKS bad, politically speaking, and he should have sense enough to know that in advance and 'head it off at the pass' so to speak. Obama has at a minimum proven himself to be politically ignorant[for the presidential-level playing feild] . I think he has proven himself to be a first-class JERK, so will alot of other voters,... HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA :D:D

There's no way we can ascertain why Obama (US) doesn't have anything to do with his half-brother. You're completely right about him not evaluating the political repercussions.
