Precooler setpoint.

What is the optimum DAT setpoint for a precooler coil on a MAU unit, feeding into the primary cooling coil.

Current setpoint is 50*..............seems pretty low for a precooler, or am I missing something here?

Depends on what the Sequence of Operation is calling for the precooler to do. A lot of precoolers are set up at 55F to lower the air temp, then the heating coil brings it back up in order to dehumidify.

This may be a similar set up. If you can find the SO, I'd check it out.
