Who the heck could expect to have anything go easily!!!???!!!

Anyway we had expected to have a nice leisurely week in Colorado. But we have been informed that my Son is going to be commissioned on Aug 21st.

First thought was that we should fly from Denver to Atlanta. But No, that would be too simple. The airline wants about a billion dollars to do that. So the simplest and least expensive thing to do is to fly back to Albany and drive down to Georgia.

Okay, so that's the plan. We are flying back to Albany on Monday. We will not be having a nice relaxing week in Colorado. From Albany Airport we will be heading directly south to Ft. Benning Ga. Not Bennington Vt.

Here is another chapter in my book entitled "It ain't easy being me."

Commisioning was set for the 21st. We changed our departure date from Colorado. Supposed to meet my brother, sister,daughter and others in Georgia for the event.

Get a call from Jeremy on Monday. He pulled a muscle in his back. He couldn't pass his PT test. They won't let him retest. Missed it by one sit-up. They are extending his training for at least 3 more weeks. Bottom line is he won't be commissioned next Thursday. He is bummed out but he aced all of his academics. I told him,"now you know how Tom Brady must have felt the morning after the superbowl." I'm sure he'll crush the PT test next time.

We moved our departure up to a week from Saturday. So let's hope the Colorado weather clears up for next week. :D
