the company i work for in one of the largest plumbing/AC companies in Los Anageles.
they've been ripping people off for 20 years.

after the California earthquake the company was investigated for "price gouging", all charges were dropped when the company produced price books showing that the outrageous prices were what they charged every year.

a few months back i went to a guys house to diagnose two AC systems, i got the price out of the book and the bill came to $1400 bucks.
(a hundred bucks worth of parts)

the guy threw a fit, threw me out and refused to pay the minimum fee.

the next day he started making several calls.

i was surprised to find that everyone was involved, the manager, the higher-ups.
when he started making calls the sht hit the fan.
they called me into the office and actually tried to BLAME ME for their prices they published in THEIR price book.

out of all the customers who get ripped off on a yearly basis, this was the only guy who called in and complained,
everyone else is too nice.

i guarentee you this company would not be able to get away with what they do if everyone started taking a more active role in business and government.

i looked our company up on the BBB to find that we are not a member, and the company has a "C" rating and a "D-" rating.
(this company has about 4 different business names)
the few disputes it has, they were resolved under "agreed to perform as contract stated"

that's pathetic, this company SHOULD BE the subject of several lawsuits.
...once again, people are too nice.

this company also has positions open where they train people to be managers.
no one wants the jobs.
people don't want positions of leadership.
the end result is, only the greedy and the evil apply.
...it's the same thing with government.

the average person thinks . "oh, i don't know very much about politics to go for a job like that"

the end result is, we get people like Diane Fienstien who enter politics for the purpose of deregulating laws so her husband' compay can make millions.
(which she did succesfully)

these people who run are government are NOTHING, they are a bunch of idiots who don't know one freaking thing more than the average soccer mom.

the only education these people get in college is brainwashing and a superiority complex.

they are a bunch of immature idiots who try to make a name for themselves by passing infringing laws,
... they need to all be thrown out on their ear.

nothing shows the mentality of our politicians better then this short video of two council women from California.

these are the people we have making our decisions for us.

We seem to agree on a lot of things, even though I would say the things you say in a different way. Let me know if you get the job so I can come work for you. :D

i might try to start a business in a couple of years but i won't even consider running for politics until i get older,

if i ever got into a political job of importance, they'd shoot me within a month.

Well, one thing at a time. Apply/request for a management position and see what happens.
