Trying to stay cool in Miami

3 ton 15 SEER versus 3 ton 19 SEER. Will the effeciency of the 19 SEER be that great that is offsets the price versus the cheaper 15 SEER but higher monthly operating costs? Need to replace existing 16 year old Lennox unit that from what I am told is probably operating at an 8 or 10 SEER at the most.

It might use 20% less electric then the 15 SEER.

If the 15 SEER is single stage. The 19 SEER will dehumidify better.
