Amazing how this has happened to the Rev. Jackson again. Of course, apologize and it's all OK. Hypocrite.

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama shrugged off a crude comment aimed at him by the Rev. Jesse Jackson, accepting an apology for a remark Jackson made as he contended that Obama wasn't speaking to issues important to the black community.

Unaware that his microphone was on during a break for a Fox News program last Sunday, Jackson used a slang reference to wanting to cut off Obama's testicles. When he learned Wednesday that the Fox News program "The O'Reilly Factor" would air his comments that night, Jackson apologized for "hurtful and wrong" remarks.

In 1984, he called New York City "Hymietown," referring to the city's large Jewish population. He later acknowledged it was wrong to use the term, but he said he did so in private to a reporter.

I'm not in the mood to check for myself--does anyone know off hand just how this fellow is a 'Reverend'? Wonder what that exact remark he made was too.

Just proof positive that color of skin is more important than issues.

While talking to a fellow interviewee, an open microphone picked up Jackson whispering, "See, Barack's been talking down to black people. ... I want to cut his nuts off."

Those are the first public comments I ever heard him say that came from his heart, and were not staged or rehearsed.

Such a petty jealous man he is.

He's just afraid that if Obamma gets elected, that he will loose his job! After all, how can he claiming racism and how the white guys keep the black guys down if a black man is elected president?

I would go so far to say that the fact that he is the democratic nominee would be enough to dispel that notion.

Jacksons and Sharptons live on the small day to day stuff anyway. They enjoy jetting across the country and putting themselves in the limelight on individual "sexy" issues. There will always be cries of racism whom so ever the president is; white, black or something in-between.

Well that sure would be a change, ( for obama). I guess he hopes it won't happen. What a freakin' freak show these people have become.

I just really miss the old Jesse Jackson who taught all children of all races to always feel that they are somebody in this world because they can all achieve if they put their hearts and soul into doing so.

I just don't understand how a man who used to have such a good message for all persons became so Black that he is now a bigot. Come to think of it, Obama gets Blacker every day as well.
