Does anyone have a source for expendables for the GE H-10 halogen leak detector. Probe tip and filter needed. Could also use some r-11 for reference leak.

that leak detector has changed mfg hands so many times but the good thing is it only changes the name on the box. my first one was the cordless and it was made by johnson controls. when i got tired of the battery dieing half way through leak checks i bought the corded one and it was made by mars. you need a "tune up kit" or "maintenance kit" it comes with 100 filters, 3 flow balls (little red ball in the tip), and 3 probe tips. i did a quick search but just found the detectors on ebay. your best bet is to go to the supply house where you got it and they should be able to help you out. the viles now come with a 134a equlivilent.

Thanks for the info guys. This plug in model has been bullet proof for a lot of years, I just want to freshen it up. I have a Johnstone right down the street.
