Obama asks contributors to help Clinton with debt---

Sen. Barack Obama has asked top contributors to help his former rival for the Democratic presidential nomination, Sen. Hillary Clinton, retire her debt, an Obama campaign source said Tuesday.

Obama did not direct members of his National Finance Committee to contribute to Clinton's campaign, the source said, but asked them to do so if they were so inclined.

Clinton suspended her campaign and endorsed Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination this month.

This is nothing but bad. George Carlin looks more correct everyday. The people are supposed to fund Hillary's losing effort even though to this day she hasn't STOPPED her campaign, but merely suspended it? Additionally, she ran up millions in debt and Obama suggests that somehow people should rally and pay up?

If that's not a "pay up sucker", I don't know what is. Sorry Mr. Obama, Mrs. Rodham ran herself into debt and it's not the fault of people that supported her or support you.

I guess we know the game now. Rodham merely suspended her campaign for some sort of leverage. Obama is countering with you are going to buckle under and be a useless VP or you are going to have alot of debt. Now he's taking a flyer on the people coughing up money. If that doesn't work Obama can graciously publicly cover her debt as she graciously accepts the useless VP job. (useless from a power standpoint)

Most of Carlin's rants were against conservative issues on the surface but we all know libs were doing the dirty deeds about which he spoke.

But you're right. The jist of Carlin's stuff in spot on.

Libby donors will pay it up. A socialist agenda can do funny things to people that believe and support it. If asked, high profile Dems could vomit on the floor and they would gladly clean it up by scraping it off the floor with a spoon and orally consuming. Don't have a spoon? That's okay, they'll just lick it up. These people are a desperate lot.

Yup. Desparate for power.

This sort of thing, along with Obama's recent defending of Hillary Clinton, really makes one wonder if the entire past 18 months of campaigning hasn't just been one big show for the Democrats to get so much media attention that other candidates hardly even show up in the news.

Ya know, air, that is an excellent observation. Knowing Hillary, though, unless there is promise of power, I doubt she'd go along. Of course, we never know what kind of crap goes on under the table.

Ya know, at first I was thinking; "lips is lips", and then I started thinking about biting and feeding frenzies and devouring and lost my desire for one of the things I never thought I could lose my desire for. Thanks a lot:mad:
