Model # 550:cool:
I had it tied into the supply plenum....
but now ....witht he cased coil.....no room.....So it will be placed on the Return plenum....
Should I get the same results ?
This April aire .....also has a 6" takeoff ...on the side....that would normally go to the return......
I........... will probably have to cap that off......:confused:
:confused::confused:

No... you don't want to cap it off, you have to pull heated air through the water panel.
Here is a link to all of Aprilaire's Manuals:

to the return plenu.....then off of the
6" collar...
take a 6" 90 26 g.:cool:
bring a short piece of flex to the supply plenum....will this work :confused::confused:
The manuals ...did not really get into installation Options...:confused:

Yeah that should work fine... all you have to do is pass air off the plenum through the water panel in order to make it work. You should also put a damper in your flex line off the plenum so you can close it off in the summertime and not recirculate your a/c back into the return drop.
