is my new Rheem furnace a direct vent or non direct vent ?? I thought direct vent ment it had a blower in it to blow the exhaust fumes out.
But someone said it is a direct vent ONLY if you use outside air for combustion, if you use inside air it is No direct vent ??
This makes no sense why combustion air has anything to do with direct or non direct vent ??

Direct Vent:
Are appliances that draw all combustion air from the outside atmosphere and discharge all flue gases directly to the outside atmosphere.
That was the condensed version of the IFGC definition.
