I jut got my first static pressure tip, the Dwyer A-303. I just wanted to make sure I use it right. The tip points into the airflow right?

Any benefit from the Dwyer tip over the tip's in the 510 kit Jim carries?

Wow. I was taught (by a manufacturers service rep) that all I needed was a hole in duct and insert hose or cover the hole w/ hose for static pressure.
He even demonstrated by removing a screw and covering the hole.

far as i can tell that kit is dwyer tips and some vinyl tubing that can also be found at the home cheapo or lowes ;)

i got 20ft of tubing for lesthan 5 bucks and just ordered three tips from cc dickson and haven't spent 45 bucks yet :)

that works too. but it is very important that the insertion be at the very edge of the duct and straight!! or your readings will be off!! i have done it this way for some time :)
