Saw these at an open house though they were 'interesting'
http://www.noventcaps.com/

So I got a set. I`m thinking customers might be kinda ticked if I started locking out(pun intended) anyone else servicing their unit :D
So what if I started putting these on every new install, my justification would be in order to honor our extended warranties we don`t want anyone else servicing the equipment.
Placing a sticker on the unit alerting possible new owners to extended warranty and locking caps may bring in business otherwise lost to someone else

One could also use these as a 'boot' for those non paying customers.;)
(Without the key only way to remove them would be to cut the valves)

just ideas running in my head...

I think theyre mainly used for the dope head huffers. Had to service about a dozen units in a complex that were all almost empty. Puddles of puke next to every unit. Freaks.

I have got them on I think 5 units where the refrigerant magicaly disappears from the system. You know the ones where there is a bunch of broken ballons around the systems.Evidently the huffers use the ballons to get the refrigerant in tho huff at a later date. The caps have stop the huffers to this date, but who knows what will happen when they figure out how to get into them .
