Very. Grand pa was a "Master Electrician" only Ideal Meters and Klein Tools allowed. All else SH** is what he would say. Master in EE Copenhagen. :)

That's because it is the same meter. Take a good look around while shopping for any piece of test equipment. Some are designed here and made overseas and therefore remain unique. Many however are simply imported from a Chinese OEM emblazoned with any logo and in any color you request!

I suspected it was the same meter, I guess my question is: Who is making Fieldpiece meters?? Doesn't matter though, I like the one I have but it will likely be the last Fieldpiece I buy.

That's because it is the same meter. Take a good look around while shopping for any piece of test equipment. Some are designed here and made overseas and therefore remain unique. Many however are simply imported from a Chinese OEM emblazoned with any logo and in any color you request!
