That's true. During my watch as chairman about 10- 15 people made the decision to show up within the last 2 weeks before the date.
Suggestion: Talk it up some more on the Gen.Discussion forums on all 3 channels. Also you need a poster. as in "Colorado wants YOU!" :) So that first timers know what is going down.
Do I get the job as poster child???

Texas is there. Colorado is right there. Hmmmmmm...... doesn't seen like that much real estate to this easterner.:)
What about Paul ???? Before making a judgement call. Does Ft. Morgan have : a beer store, a grocery, and a bar with a pool table ?And a nice park for the horse shoe tourney ? We can get by with less but that would be optimum.

The official hotel is within walking distance of 3 bars with pool. The public park is beer free, so I'm working on an alternate loc. for that.

They should bring their mommies with them. We don't mind sissy boys with dominatrix mommies attending the festivities, do we?

Thats just wrong. The visual you created there will keep me from eating for a bit.Look fwd to seeing you and the wife in a month or so, Table the tattoo idea and check with Ed first. It seems like an aweful liberal thing to do:D

I and the missus will likely be traipsing thru the Denver area in the Aug 15th thru 17th timeframe. We'll find you guys if I can make it happen.
BTW, what's the possibility of a pic of this year's HVAC-Talk convention attendees making the cover of Contracting Business? You know, like Dr. Hook's "Cover of The Rolling Stone" tune questioning whether or not we've made the grade. :p
What a cover story it would be.......

I get the impression that Contraction Business wants to distance themselves from the convention. They certainly haven't given any support to the convention like the last 2 owners of the site did.

Now what makes you believe that? 2 years ago, they gave over 100 tee shirts to be passed out.
Last year, they invited all to St Lois to the convention, and I think it was for free?
