Forgive me if I'm not explaining this right but I'm learning as I go.
Now that I have half figured out Contribute I have started to build my VAV page template and have been able to add most of the points I want except things like SCPT minflow, SCPT maxFlow, all of these I guess are contained within nvoVAVinfo. I did a search and saw something about not being able to assign these to NVE's? Am I just not going to be able to display and write to these points from the web page?
thanks again,

Check out this post, Ctrlguy shows the code for breaking nciSetpoints down using Javascript, you should be able to do the same thing with nvoVAVInfo. There is no direct way to do it using Contribute on an ilon100

The new version of Vision allows you to do this type of thing. It is shipped with the Smart Server. Individual elements of enums and structs can be selected. A very nice improvement in Vision.
Does anyone know if this ships with iLON e3 'plus' now?

Would the smart server version work with an ilon100e3?

My understanding is that it does although I have not tried it yet. When you install the new version it over-writes the old so it really has to be backward compatible. This is only one of many improvements such as the ability to set the 'precision' of numeric values. There are still a few 'bugs' yet but many of them will be corrected in the next service pack.

But it requires Contribute CS right?

Tried to use the new Smart server software on the E3 and did not get the result that I was looking for, it was more issues than just using the E3 software.
Yes the new version does require Contribute CS3 to work with the Vision software, and it does break down some compotents but not all. You need to test first before you set up.
