I was pulling the panels off on a commercial PM job with 26 RTU's ranging from 5 to 15 tons -- The Makita model BDF452 cordless drill driver had plenty in the tank after the job.

Anything better?

It's light & it rocks!

No but it is an expensive drill. After mine got stolen I replaced it with a dewalt 1/2 inch 18 volt. When I wear the batteries out the company replaces them.

Don't know what they cost this year, but they were selling like hotcakes when I bought it, and you get 2 batteries and a charger with it.

Don't know whether it will hold up like the Dewalt, but I've beatin the crap out of it(driving Tapcons into concrete, etc), and it still rocks.

What a drill driver!

I cringe when tools get stolen -- been there, and it still sucks.

Makita always seemed to be balanced better than other brands. They put a lot less strain on your wrist and arm during extended use.

For just a bunch of screws the Makita lith ion 1/4 impact is smaller and

it rocks!

You can get the 3.0 AHR or smaller version like that one
