hissing TXV- continued

No, I'm not a tech...if the hissing is normal, then so be it...system cools fine, but if hissing is not normal, then I need to call a tech to check it out....I have never noticed it before....please do not close threads so quickly....

A undercharged system prevents the TEV from feeding properly and results in high superheat.The situation is signaled by a hissing sound at the valve,low suction pressure and low head pressure. Call hvac company to come look at it!

I have this question on a test I'm taking now and am having a hard time finding the answer??

You need to call a service technician. Threads are closed on an as needed basis. Your original thread was giving too much technical information as this one may end up doing also.

So, like everyone has said, have your system serviced by a professional.
