Nigeria possibly.
Got an awkward e-mail yesterday from someone who thinks I sell ice machine type equipment and whoever it is seems to have gotten their starting information from these forums. Here's what they sent me.

HELLO OWNER
MY NAME IS ************* AND I WIL LIKE TO KNOW WEATHER U DO
CARRY ICE MERCHANDISERS INSTOCK. AND IF U DO CARRY THEM REPLY ME
BACK WITH THE PRICES RANGE ON THEM SO THAT WE CAN PROCCED WITH
THE PAYMENT INFORMATION
************* (wrote his name again here)

I deleted the name so I can possibly string him along. I may be able to have a grand old time gettin' this guy all flummoxed and drawn out by scamming him back.
I'm going to set up a different e-mail account somewhere to keep him from getting any other info from me and so I can keep my "scams" straight.
This could be fun!:D

And there's a bank in China with millions in unclaimed money that I can have just by contacting some guy with my account number.....

Those woodcarvings are amazing! Imagine how much time it must having taken for the scammer to do those.

I just signed up for 419eaters so I can get some info on scamming scammers.
I've seen this website before and these folks seem to be quite knowledgeable about dealing dirt to these scumbags.
I've already responded to the first e-mail and I hope I can give this creep the runaround for a long while.

The nimrod responded to my e-mail replies but all he did was resend his original botched request.
I sent him a second reply with my newest addy to keep him out of my other ones I use for more important tasks. Here's the response to today's adventure.

PLEASE, send ALL e-mail correspondence to the address given. ALL e-mail to go to ****************** That is a business address and is used for such. ( I deleted the e-mail addy to keep others from trying to use it for nefarious purposes and to keep other riff-raff out )
As I stated in one of the previous responses, I require additional information in order to properly process your request.
I must know type and capacity of equipment desired, electrical requirements, any physical limitations to consider, ie. physical size and or weight of equipment.
I provide specialized equipment that is constructed for specific needs, there is no price range as each piece is unique to the customers requirements and each piece is priced according to those requirements, I MUST know what you require in order to process a price request.
I also must know the address to ship the equipment in order to properly assess any shipping charges and I must know preferred method of shipment, ie. rail, truck, ship, air freight, etc.
Thank you for your interest in my products.

Let's see if he keeps nibbling before I sink the hook.
