I was all excited until I found out I needed a power supply and it’s on back order :o(
on a side note... I’m not sure is My FX builder is up to date. I’ve been told builder it’s the same VER…
1- Can I just buy a 16V Power supply and power it through the plug in the bottom?
2- Is FX Workbench Pro 1.2 compatible with the 20 and 60’s?

I don't see why you couldn't get your own power supply.
And No (I think) to your second question FXpro 1.2 is 3.0.106 Workbench and the 20's and 60's are supposed to be 3.3.
If that is true then you will need to upgrade FXWorkbench. Ill can email you more details if you would like.

Yes, you can use the power plug on the JACE.
No, 1.2 won't work. As freddy pointed out, your FX20 will be 3.3, FX WP 1.2 is 3.0

Ok, here is the deal. JCI says the 20's and 60's are at 3.3. However, they have no updated workbench in their catalog. As we all know the 3.0 workbench can not work. So are they that dumb to release a embedded 3.3 JACE without the proper workbench?
So until this gets clarified I would suggest no one use FXworkbench 1.2 to do anything with the new FX's. It could screw them up to high heaven. And god knows it has taken forever to even get them in the first place, and then to waste them on the first day.

They do have it. It's FX 2.0, which is Tridium Niagara AX 3.3.
It's even in the documentation that FX 2.0 is required for the FX20 & FX60.

Someone needs to tell that to the distributors then. They are saying 1.2 is the latest and greatest and will be fine for the 20's and 60's.
But this should be a FYI for you FX only people who actually believe your distributors.

I was told the only upgrade i required was for Builder and that workbench 1.2 would work. After powering up the Fx20 today, I can verify that it is ver 3.3 and workbench 1.2 will not connect to it.

I’m not sure is My FX builder is up to date. You will need version 5.2.3 to work on the FX16 bacnet controller. I having an odd expierence with this stuff today. I installed 5.2.3 over a month ago. All the files I made with 4. whatever that include a MUI will not save, I get major errors. In the mean time I attended a JCI rollout seminar, reported the the problem to the guy and e-mailed some of the broken files to him. Today I recieved a CD in the mail from JCI, no letter or nothing, hand written on the CD FX BUILDER 5.2.5. So I tried to uninstall 5.2.3, it doesn't uninstall, It goes through all the motions but it still remains on my PC. I have uninstalled and installed this program since rev. 1; I got a call into them.
