View Full Version : Stick a fork in Hillary she's done

Senator Rodham is done. Her and her old lady backers won't quit. They would rather spitefully attempt to take down Obama at the expense of the Democratic party and set herself up for 2012. To do that she has to put McCain in office rather than Obama. That's why she is continuing. I'd like to know where she gets over 11 million to personally dump in her own campaign so far.....
Male white Democrat voters saw their candidates disappear. They made adjustments. Black people still have their candidate so they are voting. The older bitter white women can't handle the defeat so they would rather spitefully continue on and denigrate the competition. That's Senator Rodham's real core constituency.
It's interesting how much racial and gender polarization is actually going on with the Democratic race.

I wasn't aware that race, age and gender were attached to the votes so that could be counted.
When you assume, well...you probably know the saying.

Oh, me neither. I just take a bit of exception to someone saying all old white women (and calling all old white women bitter!) are for Hillary. And that all Blacks are for Barack.
Life just ain't that simple Simon.

True. A lot of old white women (bitter or not) here in the south have no use for Hillary. People down here just don't like the woman.
And assuming Obama does get the nom....just watch the moderate Dems run to McCain.

Mccain isn't doing much to draw those Democrats who are unhappy with their candidates. He's pretty much saying he'll follow Bush's policy in appointing judges, he's trying to kiss up to the christian right, that's all going to keep a lot of swing voters from voting for him, and will certainly prevent democrats from voting for him. This has to be one of the saddest presidential races in history, as far as the quality of the candidates go..almost as bad as 2004.

McCain's darkhorse is his wife. She seems smart and progressive.
Hillary gets the old people and middle age women. That's the majority of her base. It's simply a fact. And that constituency is bitter and is fighting tooth and nail when they have lost already. She isn't going to win. Her base is upset because the black man got in during what they think is THEIR time. So, like her constituency she is sticking it to her fellow Democrat doing the work of the Republicans for them. This is to set herself up in 2012 hoping McCain gets in now.
Nice plan.

So, you're saying that your RACE, AGE, GENDER are somehow ATTACHED to your voting ballot so they can gauge this?
Golly, I guess I am just as stupid as you paint me then cause the voting officials and/or party officials around here just can't do that.

I also think you should have to attach your dogs name, the last time you visited the bathroom, the date you lost your virginity, and what you ate for dinner every night for the last 3 years on your ballot.

Pollsters tell it how they want you to hear it. They give their party affiliation away every time they open their mouth. Example - the black vote carried Obama in N.C., really. No mention of the white vote carrying Hillary up north, or did I miss something on the TV. Must have missed what the Hispanic vote was too, NOT
There are a lot of young votes going to the polls this year reguardless of race, gender, ect. Should be the best voter turn out in years.
Years ago I told my mother there was no one worth voting for . She replied - I know - vote for the one you hate the least. OMG the truth hurts.
I hope America come out the winner not just a canidate. We can only vote and pray.

Guess who doesn't like to vote Obama? Racially, Latin people don't. Last time I checked that was a RACE issue. Lots of black people vote Obama. Again, a RACE issue. In Pennsylvania Hillary wins with the OLD people. Last time I checked that is an AGE issue. Finally, more women vote Hillary than Obama. Newsflash, that's a GENDER issue.

Because the did a POLL. Yes, I understand POLLS. I also understand they aren't 100% accurate--yes, people lie or change their minds. POLLS are not VOTES last time I checked. I pay attention to the VOTE results, not the POLLS. No one can tell you with 100% accuracy who voted for who. Names aren't on ballots as far as I know. There is no indication of which ballot belonged to who before they are entered for counting.

Whoever manages to confiscate the nomination for the Dems, will likely split the whole party vote for the benefit of Citizen McCain. There is no way the loser in the primary will be able to sell their votes to the winner. Turn 'em both over.......:D

I hardly doubt that that many Democrats will be lining up to vote for Mccain. He sounds more like Bush everyday. And this kissing the you know what of the christian right, and pretty much carrying on Bush's policy in regards to appointing judges isn't exactly going to help him court the Democrats. You really seem to think Mccain is going to win this by a huge margin..very, VERY doubtful.

Johnny don't need Dems. If he gets some, oh well, but with the Dems in disarray, party split, Johnny just has to sit back now. Hillary's "supporters" won't be lining up to vote for Barry and vice versa. Let 'em stay home and whine or write in John Kerry or some other schmuck. Makes no difference now.

You're delusional. The democrats may be split now, but you think they won't come back together, to keep Mccain from winning? The last time I checked, Mccain wasn't to well liked by a large portion of republicans, a large number of whom won't vote for him either. Let Mccain "just sit back", wouldn't be much different from what he's doing now. Funny, the Democrats have been split between Hillary and Obama the last few months, yet Mccain still can't gain an edge on either one. Your view is a little different from what's actually reality.

You do realize that a republican presidential candidate has only won the popular vote once in the last 4 presidential elections right? (Bush lost it in 2000 remember) And you think Mccain, a guy a lot of people see as nothing more than a clone of Bush, is going to win by a landslide? Keep dreaming..or taking whatever hallucinogens you're on. This is going to be another bad election for republicans.

But don't forget, Johnny was the maverick in the gang of 14--going AGAINST Bush's picks. If you think he's going to nominate conservative justices, I think you have a better shot at getting pregnant. And yes, I'm assuming you're a male. He's got to get them thru the Senate, which will likely be like a bigger gang of 14 by the time 2009 rolls around. Either way, don't hold your breath for true conservatives--Republicans yes, conservatives--probably not.

Obama wins all the city areas and loses in every other county. Tell me what race primarily lives in the cities and how they voted. I don't need to see EVERY vote, I see what the majority does, and that's what I'm commenting on.
Tell me why everyone predicted Pennsylvania, Texas and Puerto Rico to Hillary and said North Carolina is a slam dunk for Obama? Do they just pull this out of their butt? If things aren't polarized with the criteria you mentioned shouldn't the voting be more even state to state and city vs outlining areas?

Thank heavens for America that there are not a large number of folks calling themselves Democrats or liberals for that matter. Bush is no conservative but only represents a small number of folks the "neo conservatives" who basically support Israel above the interest of the US in all matters. A lot of Democrats and liberals support the same thing but since the war was botched in the beginning (not keeping the Iraqi police and army intact and paid to keep law and order after losing) they have bailed out.

And I know plenty of republicans around here who won't vote for Mccain, orvte either. So we're suppose to believe that republicans will vote for a candidate they don't like, buth Democrats won't? Maybe in some places, but I know around here plenty people, even white, middle class males, who normally vote republican, will vote for Obama. Seems they don't like Bush all that much, so they won't vote fo Mccain. The "democrats" you know aren't real democrats, or they just won't admit they will vote for Obama. What happens on election day usually quite different from what people predict will happen 4 months before. It's all wishful thinking on your part that democrats will stay home.

So the Democrats I know aren't real ones but the Republicans you know are? I get confused so easily.
My sister's mother in law will not vote for the first time in her life if Obama gets the nomination. She is a lifelong democrat, a poll worker as well. She has said that she would grudgingly vote for Hillary if she gets the nomination but doesn't feel that Hillary would make a good President because she let her husband run around on her ( :p ) and also says, being a good CHRISTIAN Democrat, she cannot vote for a person that belonged to a church that had a pastor for so long that preached in the manner of Rev. Wright.
Evidently their church also thinks that Obama is the antichrist as well but I ain't going into that.
Rest assured, I know some real Democrats. I also know that McCain is not another Bush unless of course you listen to the DNC party line talking points. ;)

Obama is in the Kennedy alliance of Democrats. He would never put her on the ticket. Someone would have to test his food, before he ate, for the next eight years, assuming he is elected and wins re-election. Besides, if she were his VP, in that time frame, she would have to wait till she is 70 to run for POTUS. She ain't gonna wait that long, like McCain.
What she will do, is screw it for Obama and take her chances against McCain in 2012, assuming he is elected and lives that long.:D
