You might give this guy a try - if he's still doing the rebuild/repairs. He posted this over at the PT boards awhile back, I had him rebuild a couple units for me that were rebuilt to factory condition when they were returned, haven't seen or heard from him. Think he is a regular over on alt.hvac too.
Do you have a Bacharach, Mars, or Yokogawa leak detector that no longerworks? I offer a repair service for all H-10 G, P, PM, or B models. I am very experienced in repairing these and as some of you may know its a rare service to find unless you go through the manufacturer (which cost way too much). Contact me for more information.

My local parts distributor sent mine away for me and got it repaired and the battery replaced for $160 about a year ago. I have no idea where they sent it, but it came back working fine and hasn't given any problems as of yet.

You can drop your H-10 off at United Refrigeration and they will send it out for you and when it returns its like new. And if you need to you can get a rental H-10 until yours returns.
I have a 1980's h-10 and need the tip kit. Is it any differnt then the ones that are out now? I thought the ball used to be smaller and my clear tip won't slide off anymore, but I sure don't want to suck up a crapload into it........

I have taken my H-10 to The Meter Shop in Houston before to get repaired.

But now I just purchase a new set if major repairs needed. Local supply houses sell tune up kits also.
