A German's point of view on Islam.

A man whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War ll owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism.

'Very few people were true Nazis 'he said,' but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.'

We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace, and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the spectra of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam. The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history.

It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christi an or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. The hard quantifiable fact is that the 'peaceful majority', the 'silent majority', is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War ll was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

And, who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence. Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghanis, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.

As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts; the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Lastly, at the risk of offending, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this email without sending it on, is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand. So, extend yourself a bit and send this on and on and on! Let us hope that thousands, world wide, read this - think about it - and send it on.

Great Post Forged. As time goes on it will be hard for all of us not to look upon all Muslims as our enemy. I hope the peaceful Muslims can do something to distance themselves from the radicals (form a breakaway group or something) but right now I don't see it happening.

Your source?

I'm not saying you may not be correct but, without some facts to back that up you're kinda whistling in the wind.

Its common sense that there are not 1.6 billion radical muslims. If there were, we'd be dead by now. Europe is just a bunch of stupid appeasement idiots, the more they give the muslim immigrants, the more they want to change the european government to reflect their religion, much like how you vote for legislation that reflects your religion. This is not radical, this is common, its the responsibility of the government to fairly treat its citizens, and if it caters to muslims purely because they are more vocal, it is the governments fault, not the muslims, of course they are going to vote to get their religions beliefs written into law. Some in Europe would say that the US is fanatical because it executes murderers. Or that we are allowed to have guns, but that is our way, that is what we have voted in support of, and our government reflects that. The problem right now is that the Europeans were so eager to welcome in Immigrants, they've basically turned much of their continent into a haven for muslims, radical or not. It was also very easy for the Europeans during WWII to decide that the "radical" Jews needed to be destroyed because of their cultural/religious beliefs. Its a very thin line.

I look at our society. Even though we are "free", when a group starts to stray outside of acceptable societal behavior, we suddenly focus attention on them. I think of the KKK as a quick example, perhaps there are better ones.

This doesn't seem to be happening in the middle eastern countries. The majority of peace loving peoples have allowed the lawless to come to power, now they find themselves living in a nest of vipers.

I found his Nazi example to be a beautiful analogy.

What is your point with this statement? Does this make the teachings of violence toward non-Muslims in the Qu'ran ok? Does this do anything to reduce the massive amounts of lives that are destroyed by those Muslims worldwide who are not peaceful?

Every Muslim, no matter how seemingly peaceful, if they follow the Qu'ran literally are capable of becoming violent, radical terrorists in the name of their faith.

Hey Robo, you been getting pretty good lately on your barbs and analysis on issues with a correctly conservative slant like the 2nd Amendment, the wackos in the FLDS, etc. Maybe you could be a stand in for Rush?:D:D:D All joking aside you have been hitting the nail on the head every time here. Keep it up. At least you are making a good stand in for James who has been sorely missed here to now. Keep it up.:)

Why thank you Glenn. I don't much care for Rush's style, but I get your point and appreciate it.

I actually am studying styles of argumentation. It is quite interesting how forms of arguing such as rhetorical argumentation and concise argumentation were honed into specific skilled arguing in ancient Greece more then 2000 years ago and are still being taught today in law schools much intact the way such Greek philosophers as Aristotle taught them. Ad my usual charm and wit to applied argumentive methods and I should be ruling the world in no time:p

It also helps that there is a bit better structure here in the ARP section ever since the ARP police have been installed. Despite my recent petty argument with the ARP police, I have much respect for their position and try to stay within guidelines that will keep them from having to impose their wrath on my posts.

the Russians killed more people then that, they think it was 60,000,000 to 100,000,000 because of the Ukrain incident.

WHAT?! 60-100 million people killed? When did this occur?

Very thought provoking, and I agree with it. The vast majority of peaceful muslims still back an islamic hierarcy which is in large parts based on hate and destruction,... they feed it with consentual acceptance, money, and recruits. Freindly muslims feed the monster.

What is particularly dangerous about radical muslims is that they do not fall into our normal accepted boundaries of ''boundry''... The radical mosque is also a hospital, the market is also a target, radical muslims have no such concept a we do of ''boundries''. Politically drawn lines on a map mean nothing to them. The concept ''non-combatant'' means nothing to them. Islam is political as well as religious, and the enemy is not confined to any nation-state to go war against. The nation-states are there, but not limited to...

in any case, nice post, thought provoking.
