I am setting up a web sup, and I have only worked with it a little one other time, so I cannot remember much, What DOC do I need to refer to if there is one, I did not see one in my Niagara DOC folder, if there is one, I must have not looked hard enough, I am needing to read up on pulling in the jace's and what to do about the points I want to control from the web sup graphics, and send them back to the jace, like controller reset, or set point and so on, also setting the schedule in the web sup, to talk to the schedule in the jace so if you loose the web sup, the jace will still control based on its schedule, and other best practices, any direction would help, I do not remember covering it in the AX class last year but we covered so much I may have been in information overload. LOl. Thanks Seewll

I dont think I would do reset in the supervisor, just do all of your logic in the Jace. Set up your points the way you want them in your Jace and then just discover them into the supervisor.

As far as getting the Jace into the sup, just double click on the niagaranetwork in the supervisor and then discover the Jace. Make sure the niagara network is enabled on both sides. I like to create a special user name and password in the Jace(s) and supervisor for the niagara network like user: station2station, pswd communicate, whatever just make sure you set it to be a super user.

You can create schedules in the supervisor and then go into the Jace under the niagara network>supervisorstation>schedules and discover the schedules from the supervisor.

I put all of my main graphics in the supervisor, some put them in the Jace, some put them in both.

As for the manual, you should have some info on the disk you use to install the supervisor software.

I don't think much of what you're talking about was covered in the AX cert course at all.

I agree with lw.

Once you import your points (I put them in folders named as the the JACE controllers), any command you give at the WS is sent to the JACE.

Scheduling, as lw said and link them to the point. When you do it that (lw's) way, you could shut the WS off and the schedule will run fine, you just can't modify it in the JACE.
