I see only three hoses on the Testo and I read it can read microns.
Is it a viable evacuation tool? With only three 1/4 hoses it does not make for a conventional evac situation.

the testo set come in 3 and 4 valve manifold set ups. look up a member, jim bergman, he can answer all of any questions you have concerning testo tools :)
as far as i know, none of the digital sets read microns, they do read vacuum just as traditional analog manifolds, down to 30in.hg. :) hope this helps you in your digital endevor :)

The only version of the Testo RSA line that is capable of reading microns is the 560 - the 523 to which the OP is referring will read vacuum but it displays in negative psi and not micron or " Hg. levels.
