Hi ...
We live in Orlando Florida and getting ready to replace our 16 year old heat pump. Recommendation include going to a variable speed air handler and around a 15.8 SEER 4 ton unit .. still deciding the brand.
The American Standard/Trane dealers are offering this ACCUCLEAN or similar. What is you experience with these. It is built in to the airhandler and it is about $600 extra. Is it worth it ... We have some allergies
What is your experience with the UV systems like Honeywell's?
Or the 6" pleated filter?
ACCUCLEAN seems to have low re-occuring costs so it may be worth the upfront money ... But I want to make sure "it works" .... What is your experience?
