Without getting too specific, as a general rule is it better (on a newly constructed house) for both furnaces to be installed in the basement or one in the basement, one in the attic? 2 Story house, roughly 3200 sf.

If you seasons are more heating then keep both in basement and cooling put top floor in attic. Easier to service in basement.
