This is one of those duel k type thermometers. I'm having issues with it, its reading are way off... with the probe in ice water I am reading -384.... does anyone know how to recalibrate this unit? or is the internal sensor done? at the price of this little toy I would hate to have to replace it after a year.

I do believe there is a calibration adjustment on the inside of the unit.

I know with my fieldpiece, the K-type Thermometer would read funny. I turned the plug around and it read fine. One prong is bigger than the other, but I am so blind that I didnt realize it and forced it in backwards, so It read backwards.

Yellow jackets Website says it is accurate to +/- 2*F, So That must be some really cold water...

With the fieldpiece there is also an adjustment screw.
But the ktype plug in the wrong way does give funny readings.

its inserted correctly, and both test leads are giving aprox the same temp. I am forced to assume its an internal sensor problem.
The instructions indicate to insert a small screwdriver into one of two holes on the back of the unit.... unfortunately the holes are covered by a label. Once opened, there is no adjustment screws on the board as indicated, but there is a jumper...
I think its off to YJ with my thermometer.
